Shuttle or Angie for your WordPress site?

Angie is Elementor’s AI assistant for WordPress. It works inside wp-admin as a plugin, builds pages, widgets and small pieces of code, and comes with free daily credits.

Shuttle by MoonPress is an AI workspace for the WordPress site you already have. You ask for changes in plain words, they come out in your site’s own design, and you use the ChatGPT or Claude account you already pay for.

The short answer.

Angie is at its best on Elementor sites, inside wp-admin. Shuttle gives you and your team one place to run and improve your site, with your own AI.

Choose Angie if

  • Your site is built with Elementor and you want new pages and widgets made the Elementor way.
  • You want to start free, inside wp-admin, without paying for an AI plan.
  • You want new code tested in a preview and approved by you before it reaches your live site.
  • You’re fine adding a plugin and signing in with an Elementor account.

Choose Shuttle if

  • You want to use the ChatGPT or Claude plan you already pay for.
  • You’d rather not install anything on your website.
  • You want changes beyond Elementor pages: your theme’s design, templates and features.
  • Your team should work on the website together, each with their own account.

How Angie works.

Angie is a plugin from Elementor. After you sign in with an Elementor account, you chat with it inside wp-admin. It builds pages the Elementor way, creates custom widgets, writes small pieces of code you can roll back, adds new content types and extends WooCommerce. Elementor says Angie works on any WordPress site, with or without Elementor.

New code is built and tested in a separate preview, and nothing reaches your live site until you approve it. An optional Super Admin Mode gives Angie deeper access so it can fix errors or make bulk changes. It shows its plan before acting, and Elementor recommends a backup first.

Angie runs on credits that renew daily on the free plan, and Elementor doesn’t say which AI model it uses. Elementor also offers a separate connection that lets Claude, Codex, Cursor and other AI tools work on Elementor sites and use Angie’s abilities.

How Shuttle works.

Shuttle is an AI workspace for the WordPress site you already have. You connect your site once, Shuttle learns how it’s built, and then you ask for what you need in plain words: a new page, a design change, SEO fixes or a new feature.

New pages and sections come out in your site’s own design, so you don’t wait for a designer or a developer. Nothing is installed on your website, and it stays exactly where it is.

You use the ChatGPT or Claude account you already have, and your team works on the same website, each person with their own account. AI can make mistakes, so check each change.

Where they differ.

What goes on your website. Angie is a plugin inside wp-admin. Shuttle adds nothing to your website.

What it’s best at. Angie shines on Elementor sites, building native Elementor pages and widgets. Shuttle works on your site as it is, including your theme’s own design and features.

Which AI. Angie supplies its own AI through credits. Shuttle uses the ChatGPT or Claude plan you already pay for.

Before a change goes live. Angie tests new code in a preview and asks for your approval. In Shuttle, you check each change yourself.

What you pay for.

Angie has a free plan with AI credits that renew daily. Elementor says extra Angie credits can’t be bought for now, and Elementor One subscribers can use their plan’s credits on Angie beyond the daily limit.

Shuttle costs $29 per website a month for the first 3 months, then $49. Each website includes one free guest, and extra team seats are $10 a month. Your ChatGPT or Claude plan and your hosting are paid separately. Your first payment comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
